Digital Product Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases of digital products (including workbooks, audio guides and toolkits) from What Happens Now Coaching operated by Caroline Hickey (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By purchasing a digital product from our website, you (“you”, “the customer”, “the purchaser”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not purchase or download our products.

2. Products Covered by These Terms

These terms apply to digital products only, including but not limited to:

  • Ultimate Job Search Guide

  • Your Go-To Interview Guide

  • Career Clarity Kickstart Workbook and Audio

  • The Energy Audit Workbook and Audio

  • Skills & Strengths Map Workbook and Audio

  • Decision-Making Framework Workbook and Audio

Any other digital workbooks, audio guides, templates, toolkits or resources sold as one-off purchases via our website.

These products are delivered as digital downloads (for example: PDF, audio file or access link) and no physical item will be sent.

3. Ordering & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.

Payment is taken at the point of purchase via our chosen payment provider (for example: Stripe, PayPal or similar).

You are responsible for ensuring that your email address is entered correctly at checkout so that we can send your download link(s).

By completing your purchase, you confirm that you are over 18 or have the permission of a parent/guardian to make the purchase.

We reserve the right to change prices, discontinue products or update content at any time.

4. Delivery of Digital Products

Our digital products are delivered via email and/or direct download link. 

You will normally receive access within 24 hours of purchase, and in many cases this will be much sooner. This link will expire 24 hours after purchase and you are responsible for downloading your purchase prior to the link expiration.

If you do not receive your product within 24 hours, please check your spam/junk folder first and then contact us at caroline@whathappensnowcoaching.com with your name, email and order details.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary software and internet access to open and use the files (for example: PDF reader, internet browser and audio player).

5. Licence & Permitted Use

When you purchase a digital product from us, you are buying a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own individual purposes. You are not buying the copyright or ownership of the material.

You are permitted to:

  • Download the product to your own device(s).

  • Print a copy for your personal use.

  • Use the workbook and audio for your own individual reflection and development.

You are not permitted to:

  • Share, forward or distribute the files to anyone else.

  • Upload the product or any part of it to any website, shared drive or online platform.

  • Use the content in groups, workshops or training sessions without prior written permission from us.

  • Edit, adapt, rebrand or claim the materials as your own.

  • Sell, sub-license or commercially exploit any part of the product.

If you would like to use our materials in a group, organisational or commercial context, please contact us to discuss a separate licence.

6. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All content within the digital products, including but not limited to text, exercises, design, layout, graphics and audio, is protected by copyright and intellectual property law.

You may not reproduce, share, distribute or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

7. No Sharing or Redistribution

Our digital products are for your personal use only.

You must not:

  • Email or share the product to others.

  • Share download links or audio links (including unlisted YouTube links) with others.

  • Post any part of the product online or in any shared group or platform.

If we have reason to believe that products have been shared beyond the original purchaser, we reserve the right to withdraw access and/or take further action if necessary.

8. Refunds & Cancellations (Digital Products)

Because these are digital downloads that you receive access to shortly after purchase, we generally do not offer refunds on digital products once access has been provided.

An exception may be made where:

  • You have purchased in error and have not accessed or downloaded the product; or

  • There is a technical issue on our side that means you cannot access the product and we are unable to resolve it.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at caroline@whathappensnowcoaching.com with your order details and a clear explanation of the issue.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

Our digital products are created for personal development, reflection and coaching support. They are not:

  • Medical, mental health or psychological treatment

  • Financial, legal or tax advice

  • A guarantee of specific career outcomes

All exercises, suggestions and reflections are offered for educational and informational purposes only. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions.

If you have concerns about your mental health, finances, legal position or any other serious matter, please seek support from an appropriately qualified professional.

10. Results & Guarantees

While many people find these tools supportive and insightful, we cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcomes, such as:

  • Securing a job

  • Gaining a promotion

  • Salary increases

  • Any particular career change or result

Your results will depend on your own situation, choices, actions and external factors.

11. Technical Issues

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that digital products are available and functional. However, we cannot guarantee that:

  • Download links will always be available indefinitely

  • Your own device, software or internet connection will be compatible

If you experience technical problems accessing your product, please contact us at caroline@whathappensnowcoaching.com and we will do our best to help.

We recommend downloading and securely storing a copy of your product on your own device soon after purchase.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising out of your use of the digital products

  • Loss of profits, business opportunities or data

Our total liability to you in connection with any digital product shall not exceed the price paid for that product.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Changes to Products or Terms

We may update or amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase will apply to that purchase.

We may also update, improve or withdraw digital products if required. Where a product is significantly changed after your purchase, we are not obligated to provide ongoing updates, but may do so at our discretion.

14. Privacy & Data

We will process your personal data (such as your name, email address and purchase details) in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store and use your information.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these terms or your purchase of our digital products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
